Of COURSE we feel out of place as followers of Jesus. Until we are home with the Lord, we make it our aim to please Him. Every moment, every decision, every action counts. What can we do that most brings glory to the grace, truth, and hope of Jesus? That’s how we’re supposed to be.
God has given a share of responsibility to each of us. Today, God gives victory to those who know Him, seek Him, trust Him. Live today like that. Includes that fantastic youth group song that you might have heard in a big tent, perhaps played by your youth pastor.
The key question for any follower of Jesus: Am I living like Jesus in this world? If so, it’s a sure sign that God’s love is made complete. There will come a day where you and I as His followers will answer the question… what did we do with God’s endless, self-sacrificing love?
Our history and lineage as the children of God remind us of the good work to be done today. Bring agape to the need.
God doesn’t love us because we’re obedient; God’s love gives us the total freedom and trust to be obedient. There is a difference.
