I’m team teaching Free Methodist Catechism at Portage Free Methodist this Fall. It’s going to be deep, challenging, formative stuff. Two big chunks: The Apostles Creed & The Lord’s Prayer. Each line broken down, supported by scripture, discussed in community, and applied.

Combined with the Catechsim will be a look at one spiritual discipline per week — fasting, study, prayer, submission to the Holy Spirit, and more — which will hopefully help connect head and heart.

This is for anyone who is looking to connect with the deeper history of faith in Christ, accessable to both the “new” and “seasoned” Christian.

This won’t be easy for those who take the challenge to attend. But it will be good. This is Spiritual Formation on purpose.
