[RadCast] Aresko — Living to Please God (1 Thessalonians 4:1)

We live to please ourselves, the people around us, or God. Living for ourselves puts the focus on me and me alone; living solely to please others is an endless loop of trying to keep unhappy people happy with us. But… living to please God… that’s the way to do it. Why? Because living to please God pulls us upward toward Him and outward toward others.
Our misery is largely determined by who we’re ultimately trying to keep happy.

About radamdavidson

When I'm not blogging, I'm hanging out with my family, pastoring a church, or listening to vinyl. I think and write about Jesus, music, communication, organizational leadership, family whatnot, and cultural artifacts from the 1980's -- mostly vintage boomboxes. You can read my blog at www.radamdavidson.com, watch [RadCast], a daily 3 minute video devotional, or find me on socials (@radamdavidson). I also help Pastors in their preaching and public speaking (www.CoachMyPreaching.com).
