SkyLodge – Monday AM

Today marks the first “regular” day of Family Camp at Sky Lodge.  Soon we’ll begin our workshops.  The one I’m leading is on the New Testament book of Hebrews — my absolute favorite.  Or, as my Canadian friends would say — favourite.  I love Hebruews.

Mac and I have been spending lots of time together.  Lots.  Just ask him.  He’ll tell you.  His eyes may roll a little.  It’s fine.  I told him that he and I are living like college freshman in a dorm — fixed schedules, shared meals, odd odors.  It won’t be long before we start talking about a loft and a big TV and skipping PolySci.

Now onto the day.  I can’t put into words just how beautiful it is here.  Like Daniel Faraday in Lost, I have noticed that the light is strange out here, isn’t it?  It’s kinda like it doesn’t scatter quite right.  Perhaps Wisconsin is the lost paradise after all.

About radamdavidson

When I'm not blogging, I'm hanging out with my family, pastoring a church, or listening to vinyl. I think and write about Jesus, music, communication, organizational leadership, family whatnot, and cultural artifacts from the 1980's -- mostly vintage boomboxes. You can read my blog at www.radamdavidson.com, watch [RadCast], a daily 3 minute video devotional, or find me on socials (@radamdavidson). I also help Pastors in their preaching and public speaking (www.CoachMyPreaching.com).
