Hymn or Heavy Metal?

If you’re like me (and I know I am), you’re sometimes confusing hymn lyrics with Metallica.
Not really.
But I did come across a fascinating blog post that quizzes the reader: is this a verse from a hymn or a lyric from heavy metal?
