A Sure Sign We’re Inching Closer to the End Times (Copyright, Tim LaHaye)

Strange beyond strange — I’ve stopped drinking coffee. I now find myself enjoying things like tea and water. Herbal tea is pretty spectacular, really. I’m not talking about the kind of tea with bears on the box. You know the one, where Grandma bear is giving healing honey tea to grandson / granddaughter / ambiguous bear. No, no… this is just regular guy tea.

I’ve been drinking coffee since my birthday cake had only one digit on it, so this is most certainly a turn for me. It’s not that I won’t drink coffee — it’s just that I don’t really want any right now. Maybe next week. Maybe next year.

All I know is that it was so strange to go to Evelyn Bay Coffee Company… and get tea. Strange. Good.

— Hours Later Update:

I was at Evelyn Bay for lunch with someone and ordered a decaf. It was OK but I found myself wanting tea again. Hmm…
Also, it’s a sure sign that I was addicted when people say “congratulations” after telling them I don’t drink coffee right now. “Congrats” is what you give someone on the patch, and, evidently, me.
