LinkFest 5 – Tools For Productivity and Pointlessness

  • 43things.com is a list-bot that helps you keep track of your goals…everything from losing weight to “be perfect” (a top goal of its thousands of registered users). What makes 43things useful is the fact that you can tell it to e-mail you reminders/encouragers daily/weekly/monthly, as well as comiserate with others who have the same goal. “Be Like Christ” isn’t very up there on the list, but that can change.
  • I’m sure most of you don’t devote bookshelf space for Historical Romance Novels, but maybe you should — at least for this lady who happens to be my prolific Grandma. My wife tells me that they’re very good reads. With over 30 titles to choose from, everyone wins.
  • Sloganizer gets you out of a pinch when you need a slogan and you need one NOW. For example, check out what it generated for RadBlog in less than 30 seconds:

    RadBlog brings out the best.

    RadBlog – Your personal entertainer.

    I lost weight with RadBlog.

  • Church Sign Generator is almost as handy — but be careful. It will print anything. Ah-nuh-thi-ing-uh.

    About radamdavidson

When I'm not blogging, I'm hanging out with my family, pastoring a church, or listening to vinyl. I think and write about Jesus, music, communication, organizational leadership, family whatnot, and cultural artifacts from the 1980's -- mostly vintage boomboxes. You can read my blog at www.radamdavidson.com, watch [RadCast], a daily 3 minute video devotional, or find me on socials (@radamdavidson). I also help Pastors in their preaching and public speaking (www.CoachMyPreaching.com).
