The first mention of fear in the bible comes right after the flood, where God causes the animals to fear humans, mostly because we’re going to eat them. Scientists today are baffled as to why animals, even the ones who can eat us, are afraid. It’s part of God’s created re-order following the flood. What God *didn’t* create was fear in us. So… where does that come from? More on that tomorrow.
