[RadCast] Luke 19:45-48 // Holy Week Monday: Push the Pharisees out of the Temple of my Heart

Why do Pharisees want to kill Jesus? Because they challenge their status quo. Status quo has nothing to do with the justice and freedom of the gospel, rather, it’s about control and manageable discontent. No wonder Jesus pushes them out, and no wonder they want him dead.  What does Jesus want to push out of the temple of my heart?  Only that which doesn’t belong.

This is Lent.

About radamdavidson

When I'm not blogging, I'm hanging out with my family, pastoring a church, or listening to vinyl. I think and write about Jesus, music, communication, organizational leadership, family whatnot, and cultural artifacts from the 1980's -- mostly vintage boomboxes. You can read my blog at www.radamdavidson.com, watch [RadCast], a daily 3 minute video devotional, or find me on socials (@radamdavidson). I also help Pastors in their preaching and public speaking (www.CoachMyPreaching.com).
