Our family is on vacation. Paris, perhaps? Non. Germany? Nein!
Rather than travel abroad, we’re vacationing right where we live, right here in beautiful Southwest Michigan, where we don’t have to worry about passports and exchange rates. Money spent on travel and lodging is instead used to indulge in all the local amenities that we drive past every day on the way to work and school. It’s a vacation where we stay home and relax. I’m going to start calling it a HomeCation. Now that I see that on the screen, I’m going to go back to the more traditional StayCation.™ If you’d like, you can read about day one here.
