Perfect Sleeping Weather

This is perfect sleeping weather, according to the Ole Farmer’s Almanac, which is an off-brand of the Old Farmer’s Almanac, which is something I’m starting.  Right now.

…when the temperature drops below 63, and the wind blows through the open windows of your home, and it kinda smells like Altoids: THAT’s when you drop everything and take a nap, or, should the hour be appropriate, retire for the night…

Yep.  That’s what it’s like outside right now.  The windows, how they are open. The wind, how it howls through the domicile.  The sleep, how it will be so sweet.

You know what’s great about this below-room-temperature-but-not-snowing climate?  We’re not paying for it.  That’s right — the money-hungry air conditioning is just sitting there, not eating money.  And I like that.  Plus, I’m a big guy, and big guys do not like to sweat.  It has too many places it can go.

About radamdavidson

When I'm not blogging, I'm hanging out with my family, pastoring a church, or listening to vinyl. I think and write about Jesus, music, communication, organizational leadership, family whatnot, and cultural artifacts from the 1980's -- mostly vintage boomboxes. You can read my blog at www.radamdavidson.com, watch [RadCast], a daily 3 minute video devotional, or find me on socials (@radamdavidson). I also help Pastors in their preaching and public speaking (www.CoachMyPreaching.com).
