Circle of Life

Today is a strange day.  Within the span of 3 hours, I will do a funeral, graveside service, and wedding.  It will truly be a whirlwind of significant life events, and I’m truly honored to be part of it.

As I’m plotting the logistics of the day (drive here, say this, drive there, put boots on, say that, drive home, change, drive there, tie knot in tie, tie knot, drive home) I realize that God is there. He is especially present at times like these. His presence is undivided and His attention is complete.  A Holy God shows up in our moments both happy and sad, bringing the ministry of comfort, peace, and joy.

He is good.

About radamdavidson

When I'm not blogging, I'm hanging out with my family, pastoring a church, or listening to vinyl. I think and write about Jesus, music, communication, organizational leadership, family whatnot, and cultural artifacts from the 1980's -- mostly vintage boomboxes. You can read my blog at www.radamdavidson.com, watch [RadCast], a daily 3 minute video devotional, or find me on socials (@radamdavidson). I also help Pastors in their preaching and public speaking (www.CoachMyPreaching.com).
