Mall Food Diet

If you’re like me, you’ve noticed that it’s really hard to eat healthy on the road. Sure, you can go to Subway and pull a Jared, or go to Starbucks and fill up on yogurt and granola, but other than that, you’re stuck with food items that use “Mc” as a prefix or, are seasoned with delicious sea salt, which everyone knows is a leading cause of ocean fish death. I have just made this up, but it’s still scary to think about.

USA Today (home of easy to read articles and colorful graphics) has a very handy column today regarding eating at the mall food court. I read through it and have filed away some ideas for the next time we find ourselves eating dinner next to fake trees and angst-filled teenagers that are living a life of independence and will do so until 9:15, when their mom will pick them up by Marshall’s.

Here’s the article. Read it and enjoy. Then go eat some tofu.
