New ORV Trail

I got some great news when Dave the Engineer walked into the studio this morning.  It turns out that a local gravel pit is offering its vast 300 acre backyard as an Off Road Vehicle Trail.  The great part?  It’s only 22 minutes from my house.  The just okay part?  $15.00 per vehicle, plus $5 per passenger.  The “but it’s not that bad part”?  Wristbands mean re-entry all day.

After Dave the E told me about this local miracle, I started google mapping and found this:

Mmm… look at all that gray land — just waiting to be four-wheeled upon.  I just may go to this place with the $15 or so that is most certainly in the form of loose change in the back of the Jeep.
